Terms of Service

Last updated: November 2, 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and Deboy GP, which operates UPortal ("UPortal", "we", "us"), for your use of the UPortal website, panel and related services (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service you accept them. If you do not accept them, do not use the Service.

1. What the Service is

UPortal is a web-based media portal and account-management service. It lets you organise and play media sources that you supply, for example playlist links, source logins and stream addresses from your own providers, public and free-to-air streams, and your own recordings. We do not provide, sell, host, curate or link to channels, playlists or media content. The Service starts empty: there are no default servers, playlists or channel lists.

2. Your account

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to open an account. Give us accurate information, keep your password private, and tell us at once if you think someone else has access. You are responsible for everything done through your account, including by people you give access to.

3. Your sources and content

You are responsible for every source, link, playlist, picture and text you add. By adding something you confirm that you have the right to use it that way and that it does not break the law or anyone's rights. We do not check, store or control the media that your sources deliver, and we are not responsible for it.

4. Acceptable use

You must follow our Acceptable Use and Takedown policy. In short: no unlicensed or illegal content, no attacks on the Service or other people, and no misuse of accounts, devices or payments.

5. Lines, credit and payments

A "line" is a slot that lets one device connect to the portal at the same time for 30 days. You buy lines with credit, or through a plan, at the prices shown in your account. Prices are shown before you pay and may change for future purchases. Credit is added to your account when we confirm your payment. Digital credit has no cash value and cannot be transferred out of the Service. Servers and other features may use lines or credit as described in your account.

Refunds. Credit you buy can be refunded within 14 days of purchase if it is unused: credit that has not been spent, and lines that have not started their 30-day period. Plans (including prepaid plan terms and plan lines) are not refundable. A refund is only given when we find that these terms and the Acceptable Use policy have not been broken, for example by using unlicensed content, and we decide that after reviewing the request. Credit and lines that have been used, and any request made after the 14 days, are final. If you think you were charged by mistake (for example a duplicate payment), use "Report a problem" in the panel or write to info@uportal.tv and we will look into it. Lines that are not used simply expire at the end of their period.

6. Account managers and their users

If you create accounts or lines for other people (family, friends or clients), you are responsible for them and for what they do with the Service. You must tell them these terms apply to them, and you must not give them anything you do not have the right to give.

7. Availability and changes

We work to keep the Service running, but we do not promise it will always be available or free of errors. We may change, add or remove features, and we will try to give notice of changes that matter to you.

8. Suspension and ending

You can stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or close an account, and disable a source, server or screen, if you break these terms or the law, if we receive a valid complaint, or to protect the Service or other people. If an account is closed for breaking these terms, remaining credit may be lost. We suspend the accounts of repeat infringers.

9. Our responsibility

The Service is provided "as is". To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits or lost data, or for content supplied by you or your sources. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits rights that the law does not allow us to limit.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. If you keep using the Service after a change, you accept the new terms.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Quebec, Canada. Courts there have jurisdiction, unless the law where you live gives you the right to use your local courts.
